South Korean President Lee Jae Myung is set to engage in discussions with Evan G. Greenberg, the chair of the U.S.-Korea Business Council and CEO of Chubb Group, focusing on enhancing economic cooperation and trade relations between South Korea and the United States. The meeting, arranged for Thursday afternoon, follows the joint plenary session of the U.S.-Korea and Korea-U.S. Business Councils held earlier the same day in Seoul.

The U.S.-Korea and Korea-U.S. Business Councils serve as platforms for major companies from both nations to foster trade, investment, and commercial cooperation. The South Korean counterpart operates under the Federation of Korean Industries, emphasizing the importance of mutual economic engagement.

During the meeting, President Lee is anticipated to urge the U.S.-Korea Business Council to play an active role in broadening economic ties and reinforcing collaboration between the two countries. This initiative reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen the economic partnership and address mutual interests in a rapidly evolving global market.
